Leslie Wight

Leslie Wight BPhty, APAM, established Evans Head Physiotherapy in 1984, shortly after moving to the Northern Rivers.  She spent 25 years living, farming and raising her family on a property near Coraki, and now lives in Wardell.  After some serious injuries and extensive back surgery, Leslie is now responsible for administrative duties in the practice.  Her long history as a business person in Evans Head means that she remembers most clients, giving you a personal, friendly welcome and efficient service.

Jenna Kennedy

With the practice expanding, and Leslie suffering a second severe injury, Jenna Kennedy B. Ex.Sci, D. Phty, APAM, moved to Evans Head and joined the team in 2019. She has spent the previous six years in her own practice at Kingscliff, running a busy Physiotherapy & Clinical Pilates practice.

Jenna relocated with her family to Evans Head looking for a quieter lifestyle.

She has a special interest and training in the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, Clinical Pilates, dry needling, tendinopathy, inflammatory conditions and vertigo.

Jenna enjoys seeing people get back to doing the things they love. In her spare time she enjoys surfing and cooking.

Millie Cooke

Millie Cooke M.Sp.Sc, M.S.P.T, APAM, began travelling to Australia from Hawaii in 2008, to relieve Leslie when she went on holidays. She moved permanently from Hawaii to join the practice full-time in 2010.
Her background is in surfing and triathlon in places around the world. She has 30 years experience as an Ultra Endurance athlete and surfer, so is a great physio to consult regarding these sports.

Millie also works from the Evans Head Aquatic Centre, providing personalised gym or pool exercise prescription and sports specific rehab programs. She is a certified strength/conditioning specialist, teaching a lot of strengthening and stretching as a preventative measure against further injury.

Millie is available to do Functional Capacity Evaluations and helping injured workers to return to work with appropriate duties. Millie enjoys cycling, running and surfing, and is passionate about fitness.
